Fundraising


The LEE Band community participates in two types of fundraising:  
fundraising that supports an Individual Band Member, 
& fundraising that supports the Entire Band Program.


Fundraising efforts that support an Individual Band Member
 are led by the LEE Band Directors and/or the LEE BPA.  Towards the end of Summer Band Camp, the students have a fundraising opportunity (typically with Holly Fundraising) for individual students to earn money towards their Campus Band Fees.  Other fundraising events vary year to year.  In past years, events have included things such as a Band Rummage Sale and a Band Mattress Fundraiser.  The money raised by individuals at these events is directed towards that individual's student account.  The Band Directors determine which items or activities these funds can be used for.  For further information on individual fundraising please contact the LEE BPA VP of Student Services (click HERE).

Fundraising efforts that support the Entire Band Program are led by the LEE BPA with the support of the LEE Band Directors.  LEE BPA raises funds through Sponsorships, Donations, Spirit Merchandise sales, and several separate Fundraising Events throughout the year.  
  • Sponsorships are available for purchase at three levels to both Businesses and Individuals.  LEE BPA supports the band in matters not covered by the district, such as show music, contest fees, instruments and equipment, annual uniform expenses, and transportation.  Your purchase is tax-deductible as LEE BPA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation (EIN #74-2876000).  For more information, or to become a Sponsor, click HERE.
  • Donations of any amount are also appreciated. Again, your donation is tax-deductible.  To make a Donation, click HERE.

  • Fundraising Events vary year to year but typically include the Fall BBQ Dinner & Silent Auction, the Spring Dinner, the Spring sale of Battle of Flowers adn Fiesta Flambeau Parade seats, and the ongoing AmazonSmile campaign (for instructions click on AmazonSmile logo below).

Update on April 2020 Battle of Flowers and/or Fiesta Flambeau Parade Tickets 


If you purchased tickets through the LEE Band Parent Association (BPA) to either the April 2020 Battle of Flowers and/or Fiesta Flambeau Parade, please read below and select the option you prefer regarding the tickets. Once you select an option, follow the instructions next to the option. 

Please note that the tickets purchased through the LEE BPA for the April 2020 parade(s) will not be honored at the 2021 parades. If you would like to keep the same seats for the 2021 parades, see Option 1 below. Otherwise, you also can consider a donation to the LEE Band or a refund. 


Option 1) KEEP YOUR SEAT(S) FOR NEXT YEAR’S PARADE(S): Would you like to keep the same seats for the April 2021 parade(s)? If so, email Amy Mills by November 1, 2020, at fundraising@volsband.org. Include the following information in your email: 1) the name and email address under which the tickets were purchased and 2) indicate you would like to keep your seats for the 2021 parade(s). Once the LEE BPA receives the newly printed tickets in spring 2021, the tickets will be mailed to you. You can discard this year’s ticket(s) since you will need the new tickets that are sent to you next year. 


Option 2) DONATION TO LEE BAND: Are you interested in donating your ticket money to the LEE Band? If so, your donation is welcome and very appreciated! Email Amy Mills by November 1, 2020, at fundraising@volsband.org. Include the following information in your email: 1) the name and email address under which the tickets were purchased and 2) indicate you would like to donate your ticket money to the LEE Band. 


Option 3) REFUND: If you would like a refund for your tickets, the refund will be issued directly back to the card you used to purchase the tickets. Email Amy Mills by November 1, 2020, at fundraising@volsband.org. Include the following information in your email: 1) the name and email address under which the tickets were purchased and 2) indicate you would like a refund. 


If we do not hear from you with your option before November 1, 2020, a refund will automatically be issued. Whether you keep your seats next year, make a donation to the band, or receive a refund, there is no need give your tickets back to us. Since new tickets will be issued and for the 2021 Fiesta parades, your current tickets are no longer usable or valid. Thank you for your continued support of the LEE Band!
